Garrett
Dalton, is the European Head of
the Internet Portal Competence Centre, operating out
of Paris, in Pharma Global Informatics, Roche. This
portal service is focused on maximising the value of
multi-channel eMarketing in Roche Pharma.
He
joined Roche in 2006; prior to this he worked as Senior
Consultant for Fullsix (Paris, France), one of Europe’s
leading interactive and multi-channel marketing companies.
He
has spent over 12 years working in interactive media
across Europe. And has gained a deep insight into issues
affecting European multimedia business and European
wide solutions, having recently worked in the Information
Market (eContent, & Safer Internet), European Commission.
Also prior to this he worked as a Electronic Publishing
consultant to DG Information Society, EC, providing
web-solutions and off-line multimedia services, also
as part of the INFO2000 Programme.
Working
as Content Director for a broadband portal and interactive
television company, Europe Online (Luxembourg), enabled
Garrett to gain experience delivering advanced and converging
content (TV and Internet) across Europe, including:
video on demand, interactive video, pay-per-view and
pay-per-download solutions. Garrett also spent some
years working the interactive solutions business in
Milano, Italy.
Garrett’s
experience in web, interactive media and online/offline
content and communication has logically lead him to
work in the field of multi-channel & interactive
marketing. This new generation marketing and communication
philosophy encompasses all consumer-business interaction
and merges them into one holistic approach: integrating
and orchestrating all interaction channels and leveraging
the power of new technology to deliver consumer centric
and accountable and responsive interactive solutions.
Garrett
is Irish, and fluent in Italian and French and he speaks
Spanish. He graduated in Computer Studies and Psychology
(BA) Ireland, and European Interactive Multimedia (MA),
Spain.
