Chris Decroix (41) is Founder and Managing
Director of Peak PR, a Brussels-based communications
consultancy.
Chris
previously worked in big international PR-consultancies
as Hill & Knowlton and GCI. He headed GCI Brussels
during 6 years.
In
his career Chris advised multinational companies as
HP, Dell, Novartis and Procter & Gamble with regard
to their communications and PR strategy, as well as
on the implementation of PR-tactics.
Today,
Chris advises clients as Quick Restaurants, LogicaCMG,
the European Dairy Association and Baltimore Aircoil.
Chris
has relevant expertise in media training, media relations,
messaging, corporate positioning, international PR strategy
(multi-country), issues management, internal communications
and business-to-business communications. He works in
various industry areas: ICT, biotechnology, nanotechnology,
industry and pharmaceucticals being the most important
ones.
Thanks
to a intensive course in crisis management and crisis
communications (Washington, 1999), Chris has built a
specific expertise in dealing with issues and crisis
management. In this respect, Chris advised companies
as Amoco Chemicals, Dexia Bank, Nordbanken and Aegon
in crisis situations.
Chris
has a degree in Classical Literature and in Social Communications
from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Chris is fluent
in Dutch (mother tongue), French, English, German and
Portuguese.
